It's not back Katie!

I have a wonderful friend who just put wallpaper in her house. She posted pictures and the wallpaper looked AMAZING! She said that wallpaper was "totally back baby," and my mom agreed.

Katie's pictures and my moms coaxing convinced me that wallpaper was the right thing to do in the baby's room. Steve and I cannot do wallpaper. You guys should have warned me that wallpaper shrinks when posted and that "booking" the wallpaper really is an important step.

Surprise!

Thanks for everyone who posted and had concern. It has been a week of ups and downs, but mostly ups. Steve and I are going to be parents! YEAH! We were contacted by a mother (K.) who would like to place her child with us. K. is due the beginning of May and we are so excited. It was a week full of emotion, planning and shock. Everything is going great, we just wanted to make sure that we had everything in order before we made the announcement. We are hopeful that everything will work out and excited at the prospect of being parents.

The project

I called my mom yesterday asking her how I should landscape my backyard. I really wanted to add in a garden but was facing several design dilemmas. My mom suggested that I build this type of garden. IN LOVE! (Steve is not looking forward to the weekend.)
