Work

I just want you all to appreciate and love this smile, it was a lot of work. It is so hard to get Eli to smile while the camera was in view.

I really do still quilt

Made this little gem of a quilt a few days ago while Eli was napping. It's made of a whole bunch of bright funky fabric, not normally my style but they are perfect quilts for little kids. Remember those I spy books, well this is an I spy quilt. When Eli gets older it will be fun to have him point out the different things on the fabric. (And he needed a quilt to do tummy time on that was colorful and fun to look at.)

Eli also has the camera thing figured out. He has been ALL smiles this morning but the second that I get out the camera he becomes shy and serious. Funny baby.

Baby at sleep

Just realized I haven't posted in a few days. Nothing to exciting is going on. We have had a few big rain storms and a lot of sun. Eli spends most of his days smiling and cooing followed by long naps. I've realized he is growing to quickly and would love to just keep him just this size.

What babe, the babe with the power. . .

Eli has been so sick the past two days. Shots just do not agree with him. As I was going to the store to pick up some baby Tylenol (thanks to the recent recall. . 3 stores later) I came across these super cute PJ's on the clearance rack. $2, yes thank you. They reminded me of my favorite movie.

Labyrinth! They also inspired some great Halloween costume ideas. (Now only if i can convince Steve that grey tights are in style.)

Bug bites bite

Don't know what got me or when it got me but little does it know I will get it back soon enough. Now if I could just get the itching and swelling to go down.
(I know a dork, but the quarter is there so you can see how really big the swelling is. Just for you mom.)

2 months

Two months. . .where have those weeks gone. You are growing so big that you are starting to look like a baby and much less like a newborn. The doctor said you are growing so big and in the 75th percentile for both weight and height. You now weigh 12 lbs 13 oz and are 24.5 inches long. I love your smiles, your fuzzy hair and your big blue eyes. Most days you are full of smiles but today the doctor gave your your first shots. No smiles this afternoon.

Just silly faces. .

And chubby legs with band aids.
