Swimming

Eli's first swimming trip was a great success. There was a happy baby with no crying, looks like we will be going to the pool again.

Puppy Love

A great friend in Utah (Val) gave Eli this puppy when he was born. Eli has a little crush on this dog.

It starts with a look. . .
Then a smile.

A quick pull to bring the puppy closer.

And then the french kiss, yes Eli was caught in the act!

Puppy love is so cute!

Baby eats

Eli had is 4 month doc appointment this week. Hes getting big, 25 3/4 inches long and 16lbs 13oz. He is in the 75% percentile for both height and weight.


We also got the OK from the doc to start Eli on solid foods. Thought the first time with food he wouldn't be that interested, boy were we wrong. He inhaled his 4oz jar of sweet potatoes!

He not mad because he doesn't like the food, he mad because we can spoon it to him fast enough!

"All gone", doesn't like that phrase.

Overall i would say the introduction of food was a success. No allergic reaction yet and a baby asleep on my chest right now. Life is good.

Fall is here!

I love fall. I know if it is a little early to celebrate its arrival since it is still in the 90's, but excited still the same. The air is crisp in the morning, veggies are being harvested and Halloween decorations are in the stores. I'm so excited to spend this fall with Steve and Eli. We broke out the fall quilt today, we are ready.
