Giving thanks

This year there are more then a few people I need to thank and far more things that I am thankful for.

I am thankful for my sweet husband who deals with me day to day. I'm thankful for my dad, the man I look up to and know is always there when i need him. I'm so very grateful for my mom and putting up with all my phone calls and being there for me and Steve at moments when we couldn't have done it without her. I thankful for my grandparents who I get to see often. I am thankful for my aunt who risked a lot. I am thankful for two wonderful people (K.'s parents) who allowed Steve and I to become part of their family. But more than anything I am thankful for a wonderful woman who looked beyond herself and made a decision that has forever changed my life. She gave me the greatest gift. . . this little guy.

my little sausage

Made Eli a little sleep sack for bed and well. . . as you can see its a little small. Eli looks like a little sausage.
Super chubby.

He doesn't like being laughed at or being called a sausage. Sorry little dude, I Love you!

Six month stats: Height 27.25inches and weight 19 lbs. 4 oz.

And just for a little record keeping another quilt finished. Went to a good friend last week. Only a few more quilts to finish before Christmas.

Our afternoon

Eli LOVES a good pretzel,

HATES when you take it away,

and then is okay once you give it back.

I think Eli has spent all afternoon with a pretzel in his mouth. If it keeps him happy then mom is happy and all is good at the Mott house.

It's a love hate thing

I love this picture but at the same time I just hate it. I love how absolutely wonderful this little boy is, his cute sweet face, his big blue eyes and his chubby chubby legs. I would not change one ounce of him but I just hate how grown-up this picture makes him look. Time is going way to quick.
